Equestrian needlepoint belt pattern: hunters in a field. Designed as a 30"x 1.25" pattern which can be added to or subtracted from to accommodate your size.
Materials you will need to purchase:
18 count mono canvas 37"x 4" (your needlepoint portion of the belt will be 6-7" shorter than your actual measurement to accommodate belt fittings. A 30" belt pattern will be a 36" finished belt. the canvas must also be wider to allow a fold-over when finishig the belt) #5 perle cotton(unfortunately I can't tell you how much. It will depend on the size you are making) size 22 needle masking tape backing and buckle if you plan to finish the belt yourself. Most needlecraft stores will have a service for finishing belts or you can google it :).
please note: you will need to add 2 rows of plain stitching to the outer edge of the belt pattern to allow for turnover for belt finishing.
