When a pattern is listed, it is superficially checked to determine whether the pattern has been used or is still factory folded. We do not remove the pattern from the envelope at this stage as it is difficult to refold the pattern to fit back into the envelope once unfolded. Some patterns can be very fragile and we prefer to handle them as little as possible.

Yes. We double check patterns to ensure that all pattern pieces are present before dispatch. We try our best to refold the pattern as per its original fold lines but sometimes this can be difficult to achieve. Any listing that states that a pattern "appears to be factory folded and unused" will be checked for completion prior to disptach. As long as all pattern pieces are present or considered usuable the pattern is deemed to be complete.

We only sell and dispatch complete patterns. We will contact and inform you about any missing pieces. We will be happy to refund under these circumstances. If your order has been dispatched the pattern has been checked and deemed complete.

An incomplete pattern could be missing pattern pieces or instructions. We will sell these patterns in a bulk lot as "incomplete" at a reduced cost. Each pattern in the bulk lot will list the missing piece. If you know how to make patterns or don't rely on instructions to sew the garment, this a good way to pick up a bulk lot of patterns for cheap. A bulk lot will contain at least 5 patterns. "Incomplete" bulk lots will only be available if and when we come across incomplete patterns. There is no guarentee when they will be listed.
