2. This pattern is written with the beginner in mind

4. This pattern contains 4 sizes: toddler, child, teen, adult
5. This pattern is written in a way as to make color choices easily interchangeable
6. This hat has a wider, more open style brim than most hats to accommodate wearing a ball cap under it, curly/thick hair, and even beards 
7. Chains at beginning of rows do not count in stitch count
8. Numbers in parenthesis are total number of sts you’ll make for each round
9. Stitch patterns within brackets are to be made the number of times stated outside of the bracket
10. Pictures are contained in the adult size pattern to show the best stitches
11. Wash finished product in luke-warm or cold water and tumble dry on low heat or lay out flat to dry
