This digital file is for a 1917 Crocheted Lace "Petite" Nightgown Yoke pattern.
The pattern has been digitally remastered to make it easier to read, with additional closeup photos of details.
Please Note: Recommended for experienced crocheters! Early 20th century crochet patterns tend to assume a high level of knowledge and skill, and may seem sparse compared to what you're used to. This pattern has instructions for the crocheted yoke only, with no mention of how to attach it to (or the construction of) the nightgown shown in the illustration– it was common knowledge at the time!
No size or stitch gauge is given. Richardson's Cordonnet No. 50 cotton crochet thread and No. 12 hook are suggested.
If you have questions I'm happy to try to help.
4 page PDF pattern (plus 2 additional PDFs) for you to read on any device using Adobe Reader (available free at http://www.adobe.com if you don't already have it). You can also print out any or all pages on an inkjet or laser printer on standard 8-1/2 x 11 paper.
Enjoy this project but please do not share or duplicate this pattern in any way other than for personal use.
