Downloadable PDF crochet patterns - not a finished blanket.
This pretty blanket is crocheted in three variations using a simple ripple pattern and popcorn stitch. The pattern includes full instructions, including photos and instructions for the popcorn stitch. All three patterns use the same ripple pattern with variations in number and width of stripes.
The blue and white variation features 6 wide stripes in alternating colours.
The pink and grey variation features narrow stripes and a contrast edging in two colours.
The rainbow variation has 7 stripes, which can be made in our suggested colours or the more traditional red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.

The blanket is relatively easy, but you should be familiar with double crochet and chain stitches. Instructions are provided for the popcorn stitch and a single crochet decrease.
Materials: 6 or 7 balls of worsted weight yarn (depending on variation) and a 5 mm crochet hook. I used Caron Simply Soft yarn for the blankets in the photos.
