This extraordinary chunk of rough material is from the Ray Mine near Hayden, Arizona. This massive pieces measures approximately 5.5 Inches x 4.0 Inches x 3.75 Inches. This huge piece weighs a total of 2 Pounds and 11.3 Ounces. This material is truly spectacular, this piece came from a very old collection and features swirls of gem silica, bursts of tenorite, pockets of druzy quartz, and large swirls of chrysocolla. On the backside of this piece you can also see a fairly large pocket of botryidal gem silica coated with snowy-white quartz. This piece has amazing potential for cabochons, it also would make an incredibly addition to any mineral collection.
