Gem Silica, Chrysocolla, and Tenorite Rough Mineral Specimen Ray Mine, Arizona
This spectacular specimen is from the Ray Mine near Hayden, Arizona. This marvelous piece measures approximately 4.5 Inches x 3.25 Inches x 1.75 Inches, this huge chunk weighs 12.6 Ounces or 356 Grams. The front side of this piece has been cut showing a window to what is inside the marvelous piece. As you can see there are large pools of chrysocolla and tenorite that appear to be running throughout this entire chunk. Several of the photographs show this specimen wet. This stunning specimen will make many extraordinary cabochons, it would also be a wonderful addition to any mineral collection.
