These are some of the raw driftwood pieces I found on the beach near my home in the Pacific Northwest. They have been sitting on a shelf for a number of years with other pieces of driftwood that the surf and sand carved into art.
The larger of these driftwood pieces is 8 by 4 (at the bend--imagining a straight line between the two ends) by 2 inches and weighs 2.6 ounces and the other is 7 by 2 by 1 ½ and weighs 2 ounce. My only alteration was to brush off the sand. The color you see on the screen may not be the exact color of the driftwood.
Whenever possible the driftwood pieces are shipped in recycled packing materials. This helps keep the costs down and our environment healthy.
