Item details

This Vogue 7919 sewing pattern makes a wonderful tuck-in, button front blouse with kimono style cuffed sleeves and faux slash welt pockets. Dated 1953.

Misses' Blouse: Tuck-in blouse with buttoned front closing through extension band. Flared shaped collar: cut in one with fronts. Simulated welt pockets. Short kimono sleeves, narrow cuffs.

Pattern pieces are unprinted tissue. Original instruction sheet included, has a tear along the fold line, discoloured. Envelope has wear, tearing, discolouration, an ink stamp on the front.

I check all patterns to ensure that they are complete with all pieces and instruction sheets. All sewing patterns available at Eight Mile Vintage Sews are original sewing patterns, not PDFs or copies. Unless noted, Vogue designer patterns do not include the original sew-in label.

I ship once a week, usually Wednesdays, within 3-5 business days of your payment. I now live at my cottage, north of Toronto, and must travel to Toronto once per week to ship to US and International destinations.

I ship to your confirmed ETSY or PAYPAL ADDRESS so please ensure that it is accurate. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check their shipping address and correct inaccuracies. Packages which are shipped to an incorrect address supplied by the purchaser are subject to the return policies that are detailed below.

Payments

Please pay with your credit card through Etsy Payments or through your PayPal account immediately upon checkout. You may use your credit card with either Etsy Payments or Paypal without having an account by paying as a guest.

I am happy to cancel your transaction for a full refund before it is shipped. Once a purchased item is shipped, all purchases are subject to the return policies that are detailed below.


Returns & exchanges

BUYER REGRET

As a general rule, I discourage returns for “buyer regret” due to the risks inherent in shipping vintage items. If you change your mind about your purchase, please contact me via Etsy convo within one week of receipt of your item. If we agree that the item will be returned, a full refund, net of all shipping fees incurred by me including the CDN$5 return fee charged by my courier for US and international returns, will be given once the item is returned to me in undamaged condition. Return shipping will be at your cost and you will be expected to add insurance and tracking to your returned shipped package to protect you against damage or loss during return shipping. For US and international returns, the return address is a US warehouse operated by my courier and returns to me once the item is received at the warehouse can take 6-8 weeks in addition to the USPS shipping time.

Patterns are sent vacuum sealed in plastic sleeves. Patterns are not returnable once they have been removed from the sleeves.

CONDITION ISSUES

The items for sale at Eight Mile Vintage are vintage items that may be many decades old. These items will rarely be in perfect condition and will exhibit wear from age and previous use. I try to describe all items as carefully as possible and note and/or photograph any obvious defects and/or damage. Please read the condition description presented in the Item Details and review the photos carefully before making a purchase. I’m happy to send whatever additional photographs you might need or provide further details. If, after you have received an item, you discover a significant condition issue that I have missed, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss remedies.

RETURNS FOR INCORRECT ADDRESSES

As stated above in the Shipping section, I ship to the purchaser’s confirmed Etsy or Paypal shipping address. In the event that a package is returned due to an incorrect address being provided by the purchaser through their Etsy or Paypal account, a refund, net of all shipping fees incurred by me including any additional postal service charges and the CDN$5 return fee charged by my courier for US and international returns, will be given once the item is returned to me in undamaged condition. For US and international returns, the return address is a US warehouse operated by my courier and returns to me once the item is received at the warehouse can take 6-8 weeks in addition to the USPS shipping time.

If you request that the item be re-shipped to you once it has been returned to me, there will be additional shipping costs that will be need to be paid by you prior to the item being re-shipped.

REFUSED OR UNCOLLECTED PACKAGES

If a purchaser refuses delivery of a package or does not collect the package when notified by the postal service that the package is available for pick-up at a postal station, a refund, net of all shipping fees incurred by me including any additional postal service charges and the CDN$5 return fee charged by my courier for US and international returns, will be given once the item is returned to me in undamaged condition. For US and international returns, the return address is a US warehouse operated by my courier and returns to me once the item is received at the warehouse can take 6-8 weeks in addition to the USPS shipping time.

DAMAGE OR LOSS

I package carefully for shipping but damage and loss do happen occasionally so packages are sent with third party insurance. If your package arrives with obvious damage to the packaging, please photograph the package prior to opening it and save the packaging. Once opened, check the item for damage, photograph any damage and contact me via convo immediately. I will provide you with a full or partial refund (depending on the extent of the damage), including shipping, once you have provided me with the photographs and completed the affidavit required by the insurance company for processing of the insurance claim.

If your package is not received and has not been marked as delivered by the carrier, please contact me so we can contact the postal carrier to track its whereabouts and begin the insurance claim application. I will provide you with a full refund, including shipping, once you have completed the affidavit required by the insurance company for processing of the insurance claim. There may be a delay in providing you a refund until such time as the insurance company deems the package lost. Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, I can no longer be responsible for it nor provide a refund if it has been stolen.
