★ READY TO DIY WIRE YOUR OWN LAMP?
“It is a very comprehensive kit that will be very helpful in building your lamp or converting it. I received 2 european style lamps that needed to be converted and these kits came in very handy. I looked at multiple kits online and this was the right color and it had everything that I was looking for. In fact the kits have additional parts that are not shown in the photo that is also helpful.( i.e. multiple nuts and washers, nipple (guides your wire through the base of the lamp which is also treaded for your supporting nuts/hardware.) The only thing that you need, that the kit does not provide, is a harp and lamp shade.” - J. Leeon, Amazon Customer, May 26, 2016 ★

★ Important FAQ ★

• How long is the power cord and what type of lamp can I make with this kit?

You can choose between two different cord lengths for your lamp making kit. Our 8 foot long cord is ideal for table lamps, and our 12 foot long cord is ideal for floor lamps, but it depends on your specific needs.

• What’s the maximum bulb wattage I can use with this?

It is not recommended to use a light bulb with a wattage over 60 watts due to the heat generated by the bulb.

• Can I use an LED bulb?

Yes, we highly recommend using Edison Style (E26 or E27) LED bulbs with this kit due to their low heat and energy output.

• Is a resistor or anything else required to assemble this kit?

No! Everything you need to make a working light fixture is included in this kit. We even added some extra bits for customizing your lamp base.

• What’s the diameter of the power cord?

The lamp wire in this kit is standard SPT-1 cord which has a flat shape. The widest part of the cord is approx 1/4" and the shorter part of the cord is approx 1/8".
