Item details

A 100 gram skein of DK weight or 8 Ply yarn. The colour graduates from a bright aqua blue then fades out to a very pale aqua and into light mauve and eventually bright purple at the other end of the skein.

These gradient skeins look really great as a shawl or but two matching and knit from each end of a scarf to meet with the same colour in the middle.

Our free Delysia Cowl pattern, also found here in this Etsy shop, can be knit from one skein of this yarn even though the pattern calls for Worsted Weight. Using the DK weight does not make much difference in the length of the cowl.

100% Merino wool in DK (8ply) weight.
100 grams = 225 meters (246 yards)
4mm (US #6) needles are recommended
Knitting Gauge: 5.5 stitches = 1 inch

Washing instructions: Hand wash / Dry flat.

This yarn is registered on Ravelry and you can link your purchase in your stash there and link to your projects.

Additional policies

For our Naturally dyed yarns please note that they tend to fade gently with time, washing and wear and this is a normal occurence. However we take extreme care and used traditional tried and true methods when dyeing with natural ingredients to infuse the dye as much as possible. We use mordants which help the yarn retain colour for as long as possible as well.
