I do not like the baggy pillow look. I prefer a nicely tailored looking pillow with the pillow form completely filling out the pillow--as seen in all my photos. To get this tailored look you should use NEW high quality pillow forms. If they are older, chances are the polyester stuffing has compressed. Therefore, the nice new covers you purchase from me will not look so nice with floppy old pillow forms inside.

For example, to get the nice tailored look as seen in my photos I make a 20" cover closer to 19" or 19 1/2" finished size. That way your newly purchased 20" pillow form will fill it out nicely. If you have old pillow forms that you really want to use you can always buy a bag of poly stuffing (used for stuffed animals or crafts), cut open one of the seams on the pillow form, then add more stuffing and sew shut.

Bottom line: It's always better to OVER FILL your pillow covers!

As far as down pillow forms go, use a high-quality down pillow form. The cheap ones do not have enough feathers to fill out the pillow cover so it gives a sloppy appearance. To remedy this I often use, for example, a 20" down pillow form (if it's floppy) to fill a 16-18" pillow cover. Voila, a nice fitted look!

Great pillow forms can be found at Wal Mart (gasp!), Joann's Fabrics, Hancock Fabrics, Crate and Barrell, Pottery Barn, and I do not make any money on the pillow forms I sell in my store; I sell them only as a convenience to you. However, the shipping is always more than just the cover, so if you live near one of the afore mentioned stores, it's cheaper to buy your own forms and avoid shipping.

If you do choose to buy pillow forms from my shop I will make it nice and fluffy and slightly over filled, as seen in all my photos to make your new pillow covers look PERFECT and PROFESSIONAL. So when buying an 18" cover in my store you simply need to buy the 18" pillow form to go along with it. :)

If this is all confusing, please email with any further questions. I'm always happy to help. Have a great day!!
