POSTAGE: I ship 1st Class by Royal Mail to anywhere in the world. Postage prices are shown individually on each listing, however the buyer is responsible for paying any extra charge to a destination that is not listed. Please get in touch before purchasing if you have not seen your country listed.
TRACKING: I offer two types of delivery for each item courtesy of Royal Mail. STANDARD and EXPRESS TRACKED. Standard delivery aims to arrive overseas in 7-12 days (depending on busy periods) and comes with a proof of posting but no tracking. Express Tracked Delivery aims to arrive overseas in 5-7 days and comes with a tracking reference so the item can be tracked on its journey. As there is a price difference with both of these options, I leave it up to the buyer to decide which is more suitable. (Personally I find the standard postage just as quick and safe as the tracked) but I can not be held accountable for the wrong option being chosen.
DISPATCHING: I will always let you know when the item is on its way. I aim to dispatch with in 2-3 days if the item is Ready to Buy. And within 14 days if the item is MADE TO ORDER. I will always email you to keep you updated on my progress.
MADE TO ORDER: Please appreciate that all my items are Made to Order by hand and therefore I need time to make them. I aim to have items made within 14 days but I will always let you know if I will be quicker or slower. Please understand that sometimes I am a little longer if I have had a fabric delay etc. But I will always keep you updated if I will be longer with the item and do my best to avoid these delays.
DELAYS / BUSY PERIODS: In the event that I will experience a busy period (Summer, Christmas etc) I will post a deadline date on my Etsy noticeboard. This deadline must be taken note of before you order your items. I will do my best to work to these deadlines for guaranteed (Christmas) delivery. Although I will still try my best to hurry orders through after this deadline, I can not be held responsible for them not getting to you on time.
MISSING PARCELS: I am not responsible for any items lost in the post - Unfortunately I am at the mercy of The Royal Mail and the situation is out of my control once I have dispatched it at the Post Office. If the item is tracked and goes missing, I will do everything I can to track it down and compensate the customer - A part refund will be give in the event that we can not track it down. (It is rare that they go missing at all so this is just a precaution!) If standard postage is paid, there will be no refunds given on missing parcels as this is the fault of The Royal Mail. However, I will do everything I can to track down the missing parcel and claim compensation.
WRONG ADDRESS: It is your responsibility to check that you have given me the correct address to post parcels to. If you need to change the receiving address, please let me know in advance of posting the item. Although I will do my best to trace parcels (tracked or otherwise) No refunds will be given on items that have been posted to the wrong address. If in the event that the parcels is redirected back to me, it is your responsibility to pay the excess postage to re -deliver it.
Please understand that I make these items, I am not responsible for delivering them.
I am only a small business and do my best to avoid any of these circumstances, however some situations are out of my hands.
I will always do my best to create the items from scratch to my best standards whilst giving you the best customer service I can. I will cater to any sizing / style requirements you may need. I will keep you updated throughout the order with regular updates and progress reports and I will let you know when your parcel is on the way. I will take into consideration anything you may need to make your experience with The Pink Flamingo a fun one!

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Items on sale
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
REFUNDS: I will offer a partial refund if the item is faulty or damaged. This includes Extras and Clothing. (excluding Last Chance)
I DO NOT refund if an item of clothing does not fit. This includes MADE TO ORDER and READY TO BUY items.
Because I list all my items with measurements and link to a size guide - it is the responsibility of the buyer to check thoroughly that the item will fit.
I do not accept refunds on hosiery and earrings for hygiene reasons.
All refunds exclude postage price.
EXCHANGES: I will not accept refunds if the item does not fit but I will offer a refund for the same/ similar price. If the reason for the exchange is that the item does not fit - The buyer is expected to pay the return postage.
Exchanges will be accepted on tailor made items if the mistake is my fault and I will pay the return postage.
SIZES: I prefer to work from measurements if making MADE TO ORDER items. If measurements are not provided I will make a standard UK size of whichever size is purchased. A link to my size guide is available from my Etsy noticeboard or upon request. If measurements are not included before I start making the item - I can not be held responsible if it does not fit.
FEEDBACK: I rely on your positive feedback and 5* reviews. If you are happy with your purchase, please leave as detailed a review as you can on overall service and experience. In the unlikely event that you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me first so I am able to resolve the situation before leaving a bad review. I am unable to rectify anything once the review has been left.
SALE: NO Refunds will be offered on SALE / LAST CHANCE TO BUY items. It will state in the listing if the item is a SALE / LAST CHANCE TO BUY item.
CANCELLATIONS: Please only purchase if you are 100% sure that you want the item. If you would like to cancel an order, please contact me within 24 hours of placing the order - otherwise the order will go ahead as planned.
