PDF Knitting Pattern for Classic Girls' Boleros in Angora or similar 'Fluffy' Yarn
You will not receive the completed garment, just the instructions in PDF.
Boleros like this were classic party wear for little girls in the Fifties, and angora was very popular. The fluff also hid any inconsistencies and errors in the knitting, so a good choice for 'seldom' and 'learner' knitters. Angora was rabbit fur and was collected by combing, no cruelty involved!
This bolero would work well for little ballet dancers, and in a delicate alpaca, cotton or linen would be a nice cover-up from the sun on a hot day.
This pattern is part of my library of old knitting, crochet and sewing pattern, many inherited from my mother and grandmother. I am digitising many of them to share them with the wider world.
