Beautiful white Teeswater fleece from our ATSA registered flock, this fleece has a well defined corkscrew curl lock structure with bright luster . Has been cold water rinsed to remove the field dirt and excessive lanolin and will have very little weight loss with additional processing. These fleeces take up dye for beautiful vibrant colors. You could go so many ways with these sweet little curls, it would be fantastic spun or as embellishments in a knitting or weaving project. locks are 4 - 4.5" so this fleece could be used in a variety of ways.
All of our sheep are uncoated and were out on a combination of pasture and supplemental alfalfa. We do our best to keep them clean but they will have some vm. We have the professionally sheared by a shearer that specializes in hand spinning fleeces to keep the second cuts to a minimum.
We only charge for actual shipping costs, if you are getting an excessive estimate email me directly and I will check on the actual shipping, as the regional rate or if it fits it ships rates are often lower than calculated postage. As a small family owned farm we appreciate your continued support in raising these rare and beautiful sheep.
Orders ship in one to two days, we do our best to get your purchases in the mail as fast as possible and only charge for actual shipping. Please be patient with us if it slips as day as we are a working farm and sometimes things happen. We generally use priority mail and the first $100 is insured, we request that insurance be added to orders over $100 for everyones peace of mind.
Returns & exchanges
We will refund your purchase within 14 days if you are not happy with it. Returns must be made in as purchased condition. Processing of the fiber products will invalidate returns. Please use the box it was shipped to you in as compressing wool products can damage them. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs.
We are happy to send you samples of the fleeces we have available. We ask that you help us defray the cost of postage for samples and can include several in a sampler pack.
Most fleeces can be split into smaller amounts, please contact us directly if you are looking for a specific amount or color and we will be happy to split or combine available products to meet your needs.
We do have a local fiber mill that we will take fleeces to for additional processing. They can blend with other fibers, card and spin your wool into multiple yarn weights. Orders are subject to processing times at the mill, we cannot control this. For additional processing of fleeces, please purchase your fleece and add a note regarding what you would like done, we will deliver it to the mill with your contact information and instructions. Once finished, buyers are responsible for their processing costs with the mill. They will ship it directly to you.
