Slip the jump ring opener onto your finger and grasp the side of your jump ring with flat or chain nose pliers. Slip the bottom of the jump ring into the slot which offers the best fit and gently twist the jump ring sideways with the pliers to open it. It's that simple.

These are available all over the planet it seems, & thats because its a great tool. Incredibly simple idea (that i should have thought of!) & easy to use. Very occasionally i have found slight indents from the tool left on heavier gauge jump rings; a little masking tape on the edges should fix that. At under $5 its not at all untidy

Additional return information
We try very hard to accurately and honestly represent the items for sale, however, a full refund can be given (minus shipping charges) if you are not happy with your purchase. Items must be returned unused, strung as sold and in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt. Please could you convo us before returning any item so we know to expect them.
Items returned from overseas (non-EU countries) should clearly state "Returned Goods - Unsuitable" on the outside wrapper and a Customs Declaration form should be completed as failure to do so may incur UK Customs & Excise import duty which will be deducted from any refund.
All our beads are described to the very best of our knowledge with respect to type, size, shape, colour and clarity. We use a set of digital calipers to measure the beads. In some cases the photographs may not show the exact beads that are for sale; however the photographs will always show beads which are very, very similar or virtually identical to those being sold. Due to their very nature natural stones will vary, some are more brittle than others and drill holes may vary too; for this reason we cannot guarantee that every bead is 100% perfect. We do not sell lab-created stones.
As a general rule of thumb a 26 gauge (0.4mm) or 28 gauge (0.3mm) wire will fit the beads we have for sale and we recommend you use dead soft wire. We are not responsible for beads broken through wrapping attempts - we know it is very frustrating when beads break but unfortunately this is an occupational hazard when working with delicate gemstones and wire.
