Item details

A single skein yarn bowl made from Ponderosa Pine salvaged from a tree that collected sun shine from Lake Tahoe and turned it into gold and yellow colors, and blue from the clear skies over the lake. There are small areas of spalting. One side has an area of Beetle Burroughs. The bottom is flat. It measures 6 1/2 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The finish is four coats of semi gloss lacquer over one coat of Danish Oil to seal and enhance the colors. Already have one? As I told one Grandma, a lady can never have to many yarn bowls....
