Pattern Information:
Approximate Hours to Complete: 8 hours
Tools: ≥60cm/24” circular needles one-two sizes smaller than recommended for chosen yarn weight (or, DPNs one-two sizes smaller than recommended for chosen yarn weight), tapestry needle, one stitch marker.
Materials: 150-200m(164-218 yds) any main colour yarn you like, 50-100m(55-110 yds) of contrasting colour for beak and legs, black embroidery thread/yarn or safety eyes for pupils, stuffing.
Total Meterage/Yardage: 200-300m(218-338 yds)
Gauge: Gauge is not important. Simply knit on needles one-two sizes small than recommended for your chosen yarn weight so the stuffing does not show through.
Difficulty: advanced beginner – increasing, decreasing, knitting in the round using the Magic Loop Method.
