The Passion Fruit is a fast-growing evergreen climbing vine species of the Passion Flower that produces edible purple passion fruit. It grows up to 29 feet. Passion fruit is high in vitamin C. The fruit is used to make wine, juice and jams.
Soil Type: Grows on a variety of soils but prefers moist light to heavy sandy loams of medium texture. PH should be from 6.5 to 7.5. If the soil is to acidic, lime must be applied. It can't grow in the shade.

Stratification Requirement: Sow outside after all frost danger has passed. Sow indoors with a average temperature of 70-75 Deg. F. Germination takes place in 30-45 days.
