Assisi embroidery is a type of counted thread embroidery composed of two simple stitches, Cross Stitch and Holbein Stitch. St. Francis Assisi (Italy) loved animals and birds and this perpetuated the use of these motifs in traditional Assisi embroidery. The cross also occurs in many of the designs.

Full working instructions and graphs for pillows, table cloths, antimacassars. Beautiful colour photography.

Items are shipped from Ontario, Canada, via Canada Post, Monday through Friday. Orders placed after 10AM on Friday, and through the weekend ship Monday.

Delivery to Canada and the U.S. is 7-14 business days on average. Occasionally, shipping time is longer.
Most of my packages to the U.S. ship as Light Packet or Small Packet, Air Mail. This is the most economical rate, but it has no tracking.

If it is lightweight enough to send as lettermail then it will be sent by airmail. If not, your parcel will be sent by International Surface Packet and it could take at least 6 weeks to 3 months for arrival. This is the least expensive method. If you wish to upgrade to shipping with tracking, please write a message during check-out, and WaveSong will send you an invoice to cover the (significantly) extra cost.

WavesSong cannot be held responsible for delays at the border or practices of your local postal service. Any customs import duties or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

I accept PayPal or credit card payment through Etsy's Direct Checkout.
