This is a fabulous piece of vintage tulle netting. It is quite crisp with a salmon/hot pink floral pattern on one side. It would be perfect for a 50s petticoat, dance wear, formal, prom, bridal, crafts, retro, costumes. I believe it is a nylon netting. It's not soft. I really don't know what year it was manufactured but based on the color combination it looks 50s to me. It is certainly vintage.
All fabrics are stored in smoke-free environment. I don’t always know the exact fiber content of the fabric but I can make an educated guess as to whether it is a natural fiber or synthetic, in which case I often just call it polyester but the blends have gotten so good these days that it’s hard to tell.
I have tried to adjust the color balance of my photos to most clearly represent the color of the fabric. Even so, your monitor may make it look different than it actually is.
I will send multiple yards as one continuous piece unless the yardage states that they are already cut into pieces. Listing price is for 1 yard.
I will always ship your items as soon as I can. For jewelry that's usually within 24 hours of receiving your payment. (Unless it is a custom commission which can take up to 6-8 weeks.) I'll package them in a manner that will assure their safe arrival to you. I love to recycle so I'm very likely to use and reuse all packing materials as long as possible. If you would like your items sent to a "giftee" I am happy to put them in a gift box with gift wrap for $5, and make sure they don't arrive in an embarrassing envelope with 3 crossed out previous addresses.
If you want to pay extra for expedited shipping, I'm happy to send it however you choose. Otherwise I love the US Postal Service and their flat rate priority service. I recommend spending the extra few bucks for delivery confirmation and insurance. It's a win-win.
My design studio is in Tennessee. If you are in Tennessee then I have to charge state tax.
For custom commissions I take 50% non-refundable deposit before beginning. I like to take photos along the way to let you know of my progress with your commission. I'll send you a finished shot before I ship it to you so you have a chance to say "HEY that was supposed to be red..." or whatever. Fixing a problem is so much easier if I haven't shipped it to you yet :)
I'll give you guidelines for taking measurements so that we get the best fit possible. I always recommend having a professional take your measurements...or at least someone who has been sewing for a while. Sometimes, even with great measurements your custom garment may need to be altered a little to be perfect. This is still cheaper than return shipping and easily done at your dry cleaners. But, most of the time my customers are perfectly happy with the fit!
Returns & exchanges
Refunds will be issued only on damaged items if notified within 10 days of receipt. If it's a simple repair...if a dangle has come un-dangled or a clasp doesn't hook or a string breaks send it back to me and I'm happy to fix it. If you change your mind, or don't want the item anymore, or break up with the girl you bought it for....sorry, no refund. I always try to photograph each item in its best, most accurate lighting so you can really see what you are getting.
For hygienic reasons, refunds on earrings will NOT be issued.
I love to make custom orders and historic or vintage re-creations so let me know what you are looking for and we can create a new work of art together!
I accept wholesale inquiries as well. Want to sell my jewelry in all 500 of your shops? Sign me up!
