**Please note, this listing is for the PATTERN only, not the finished weapon!**

Wolf sword, when finished, is 62 cm (24.4 inches) long. It was made from Valerian yarn, that I bought in a faraway land with three dragon eggs and a book that has 'song of ice and fire: part six' written on the cover :)
If you want to know more about the sword you can always send me a raven...

This pattern is for the medium advanced crocheters but if you are ready to try I am always ready to help. You should know basic crochet stitches including chain, slip stitch, single crochet, decrease, increase and how to start with magic ring.

If you would like to see the sample pattern you should visit my blog: krawka.blogspot.com where you will find many free crochet patterns.

For my projects I use yarn which meterage is 174 yards (159 meters) for 50 g, weight Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi), Gauge 24 to 30 st is 4 inches (10 cm) and D hook (3 mm).
Optionally you should preapre wire or pipe cleaners. Depending on a sword purpose you may want to put the wires inside to make it more rigid. If you are making the sword for kids (like I did) skip wiring, use a lot of stuffing and when you think you stuffed it enough , stuff it even more, eventually I was thinking about using the safer version of the wire - pipe cleaners to make the stiff skeleton for the sword. If you are making this for an (responsible) adult :) use the wire inside the blade and grip - it will be so much faster and easier for you.

FAQs

I am so sorry, but I don't make custom orders. The items I sell are crochet patterns only.

Here is an article for you on how to download digital content: www.etsy.com/help/article/3949 If you will have any problems with download let me know I will help

I live in Poland and my currency is polish zloty (PLN) My price for the pattern is 20 PLN which is around 5$ (you can check the exchange rate in google) Paypal is giving you the price before and after the exchange. So please check again, it's 20 PLN not 20 $.

I use two kinds of yarn that match perfectly together: YarnArt Jeans and Alize Cotton Gold (which goes by Cotton solids in some sites) If those brands aren't that popular in your region I recently discovered this site: yarnsub.com/yarns/yarnart/jeans that search substitutes. The link above is the list of substitutes to Yarn Art jeans.

The patterns you buy are for your personal use only, you can sell the items made from the pattern if they are handmade by you in a limited number and when you give credit to me as a designer. So if you decide to sell item please write you used Krawka pattern and give a link to the pattern on etsy or to my blog. I don't allow to sell items made from the free patterns found on my blog. If you have more questions or something is unclear let me know I will be happy to help :)

My patterns are in english with standard US crochet terms. If you would like to see the sample pattern you can check my free pattern for donuts here: krawka.blogspot.com/2016/10/donuts-donuts-donuts.html you will see the abbreviations for yourself :)
