Ah, to recapture the carefree wonderment of babyhood. A world of fascination, dreamy and seamless. A world of soft images floating by without beginning or end. Few of us will ever find a way to truly daydream as we used to as babies. I envy every baby that I know! Here is the pattern for my happy-daydream-inspiring hot air balloon, along with the panda bear that gets to ride exuberantly in the basket! With its chiseled stripes in minty green and turquoise, and its three-dimensional yellow bunting at the bottom, the balloon carves an impressive and adorable figure against the "sky." The textured basket, which hangs symmetrically and holds its shape, represents challenging new ways to apply your old crochet tricks! Inside the basket is an uber detailed blue and cream panda bear, happy and hip-hip-hooraying to be flying away in a balloon! The overall effect of this dynamic hanging soft sculpture is therapeutic to the point of mesmerizing, for a baby, or for anybody! *Listing is for pattern only, not finished toy.
