I ensure that the supply chain of the garment i make is performed ethically by buying my fabrics I make the stores pieces from secondhand sources or from ethical supply chains. where the supply chains are regularly audited by wholesalers and external parties to ensure they meet the sustainability and ethical requirements for different certification such as GOTS organic cotton. The fabric supply chain includes how the fibres are made, farming practices, chemicals used, how the fibres are milled, how the fabric is weaved and how the fabric is dyed. When The fabric comes to my home I sew the fabric into a finished product and package using recycled paper. If you have any questions please send me a message and I will answer your queries.

Ethical refers to treating people and the environment well. in regards to the products I sell being ethical means that all the production steps and packaging of the product need to be done where people are paid correctly and the best techniques are used to create the fibres and fabrics. For example natural dyes used where possible and organic cotton. In regards to the way I run my business I will treat customers and my wholesalers with the upmost respect. I will not copy a competitors designs or use someone's intellectual property without consent.

I use my experience to make predictions of fibre content when sourcing fabrics and then use burn tests to verify fabric fibres. From the way a sample of the fabric burns I can tell what the fibre content is within the fabric.

A scarf where the ends are sewn together to create a continuous loop. Very helpful for preventing scarfs from flying away.

A fat quarter is what quilter's prefer as fabric pieces, it is a piece of fabric that is half a 1m length of fabric and half a 115cm width of fabric. Creating a piece that is 50cm by 62.5cm.
