Fiber and Fiber Art has long been an interest of mine. While my hobby is knitting, any time I see items in the fiber field it piques my interest. So, when I saw these early skeins of silk embroidery floss/thread, I had to have them.
I'll describe what information is with the floss. Then, if you are like me and are always interested in finding out little extras, I've added more information in the last paragraph.

It also says you can send the tag and a 2-cent stamp for their Premium Book."
All of the colors in this lot are shades of green. The quantity and shade numbers included here are:

A little history: Richardson Silk Co. was a pioneer in the manufacturing of silk thread and was organized in 1887 in Belding, Michigan "Silk City of the World". It later had stores in New York and Chicago, closing in the 30's amid the Great Depression.
