This varigated colorway is part of my Japan collection: Kyoto in Autumn
Beautifully brilliant maple leaves transform from rich red to glowing orange, made only more vibrant beside a hazy, grey sky.
This varigated yarn is kettle dyed in multiple layers, from silver, to golden orange and vermillion, and splashed with deep grey. The color changes are rapid and unpredictable. As this is a hand dyed yarn, additional skeins will be similar, but may not be identical.
This yarn is: Sock/fingering weight 3 ply 80% wool/20% nylon 100 grams 400 yards
Handmade wool garments should always be hand washed in lukewarm water with a small amount of soap. Avoid excessive washing to prevent felting. Some color may bleed, as is to be expected with any hand dyed garment, but will not alter other colors in the yarn.
Yarn is typically mailed in a hank, or you can message me to have it wound into a center pull ball for no extra charge.
Please message me if you'd like to order this colorway in other yarn weights or in bulk.
