Product :Hand-spun and handwoven khadi . This fabric becomes softer with every wash . Please consider a shrinkage of 3% . This coarse textured khadi can be used for clothing or any other utilitarian product . The price mentioned is for 1 meter .

The measurements listed in the product page is the actual garment size and NOT of the body measurement . The below chart shows the body measurements . ( women ) Size 'S ': bust - 32" to 34" , waist - 26" to 28", hip - 37"to 39". Size 'M ': bust - 35" to 37", waist - 29" to 31" , hip - 40"to 42". Size 'L ': bust - 38" to 40", waist - 32" to 34" , hip - 43" to 45". The below chart shows the body measurements [ men ] Size 'S'/ 38" = chest 36"- 37". Size 'M '/ 40" = chest 38"- 39". Size 'L '/ 42 "= chest 40"- 41". Most of our garments which are designed and tailored by us tend towards a 'comfort' fit. A lot of thought has gone into the fabric, fit, finish, functionality and the fall of the garment.

We recommend that our products, which are hand block printed to be dry cleaned. For rest of the handwoven products , we suggest you to hand wash the merchandise in cold water separately or with similar colors with a mild soap and line dry inside-out under shade . Do not use bleach or tumble dry. Most of the textiles are pre-shrunk . Please note that Khadi becomes softer and nicer after every wash. A 3% shrinkage should be considered before purchase. Iron while the cloth is still a little damp or spray water before pressing for desired result . Some natural dyed products tend to fade over a period of time - please do not consider it as a defect. A slight fading is the core property and beauty of these textiles .

Apart from it being airy , eco-friendly and elegant it supports a huge number of cotton farmers and spinners . It symbolizes self-esteem , self-reliance and self efficiency in a rural artisan and homogeneity and simplicity in consumers . Khadi is the most sustainable and eco-friendly product which does not utilize fossil fuel and hence can be called as the fabric of our future . Weaving khadi enables development of locally available raw materials , craft and human resources.

Printing patterns with wood blocks is the earliest , simplest and the slowest method of textile printing . Block carving is in itself an art and is done entirely by hand . We have been collecting old and discarded blocks from various printing workshops. Some of them discarded siting the chipping and cracking problems but most of them because the designs are not fashionable anymore. As we went through these vintage blocks we were stunned by the craftsmanship .In an effort to retain these heritage craft , we have integrated these vintage wooden blocks in our work by juxtaposing the old floral blocks with new geometric designed ones and have created a new vocabulary which we hope brings dignity and respect to that unknown wooden sculptor .
