Organically grown seeds from my garden to yours. This cottage garden favourite is well known by a host of common names including Queen's Gilliflower, Sweet Rocket, Damask Violet, Vesper Flower, Wild Phlox and Mother of the Evening. The violet blooms smell very sweet and clove-like, strongest in the evening. The plant will usually flower after the first year and live for several more years before being replaced with one of its many offspring. The flowers are edible and a little bit sweet, very nice in fresh garden salads and cute on deserts. Dame's Rocket will grow in sun or shade and can find a home anywhere.
