This listing is for 1/2 pound (8 ounces) of fabric scraps.

Each grab bag has various size, shape, styles, and prints of fabric.

Fabric is cotton and has been washed in a dye free detergent.

You could use the scraps to make a scrap quilt, use in a scrapbook or any way you see fit.


FAQs

I suggest all quilts and afghans to be hand washed, in cold water, without bleach. Once washed, I suggest laying flat to dry. If needed quilts only can be mashine washed on gentle cycle, in cold water, without bleach and machine dried on medium. However machine washing and drying causes extra wear on the quilt and could lead to premature wearing out of the quilt. This is due to the quilts being sewn, pieced & quilted entirely by hand and why I suggest hand washing only.

I do use recycled shipping materials when I can. This method allows for less landfill waste and allows for a little savings on shipping/handling charges to you, the purchaser. If you'd prefer only brand new shipping materials please let me know at the time of purchase via the note to seller option available during checkout or the ask seller a question option on my shops home page. Additional gift wrapping/gift cards available upon request, free of charge for orders under $100. For purchases over $100 please contact me prior to purchase for any additional costs (usually $5 or less to cover wrapping paper and/or additional postage being needed due to the added weight of the wrapping paper).

All jewelry will arrive in an organza ribbon gift bag for easy storage and gift giving. All earrings are nickel free and will include an earring card holder and silicone backs. Metal backs available upon request.

All items are stored in various sizes of plastic totes available at many stores. Each tote is carefully placed in 2 upstairs closets in my smoke and pet free home. I have found this method of storage on my end keeps items clean, organized, and ensures items are sent with as minimal exposure to dust/pollen/normal odors (such as air freshener and other scented products used in home) as possible.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order upon receiving it I encourage you to reach out to me via the ask seller button on my shops home page (found at OtherItemsFor11Q.etsy.com) before leaving feedback. I am more than happy to do everything possible to correct any issues or problems you may have.

I am more than happy and willing to take custom or personalized orders on quilts, afghans, tutus, lace/ribbon flowers, half curtains, & bracelets. However please note that quilts and afghans can take 6 weeks or more to be completed. This is dependant on the size and complexity of each piece as well as no machine being used. Also a factor is myself being the only caregiver to a child now on hospice care.

I accept the following payment options: 1) Any credit or debit card. These can be used directly through your cart here on Etsy. 2) Paypal. This allows use of debit or credit cards or funds directly from you financial institution/bank. 3) Layaway payments. Please contact me for details. 4) Other options available on a case by case basis upon request.

Yes. Layaway is an option. Terms and conditions are as follows: A non refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost is due at the time of first confirmation of the item(s) wanted. There will then be various levels of payment amounts and times due dependant on your needs and the remaining balance due.

---> Larger/more fragile items sent via USPS Priority Flat Rate shipping. This will include a tracking number and a small amount ($50) insurance.
-Smaller items will be sent via USPS First Class Mail. This does not include insurance. Please contact me for details on insurance.

----> Most items are sent within 1-3 business days. By business days I mean Monday through Friday, not counting holidays with no open post office in the USA. This 1-3 day time frame is not a guarantee of when your item(s) will arrive in your hands. It only guarantees when I will have your order in the hands of the post office.

-----> Custom, special request, personalized, and made to order items can potentially take 6 weeks or longer (2 weeks max for scarves) to be made depending on the request. This is due to the size and complexity of the item, no machines being used at all to make quilts, and myself also being the only caregiver for my daughter who is now on hospice care. Thank you for your patience and understanding when placing an order for such items.

Payment must be made at the time of purchase unless other arrangements have been made.

If you are needing to cancel an order please contact me within 24 hours.

If I've already shipped your order I will need the order returned in its original condition and packaging before I can refund your purchase price. In this case shipping will not be refunded as it will have already been used to mail your order. To do this without additional costs simply refuse the package upon delivery or leave unopened and write return to sender on the package and give to your mail carrier.

If you are canceling a custom or special request item please contact me within 24 hours to receive a full refund. If a cancelation request is received after 24 hours I will refund all but 30% of the total price to cover materials and time already put in to your order.


Returns & exchanges

If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase please contact me within 1 week of receiving it.

I must receive the item(s) back in the condition you received them. This cost is on the buyer.

For cases of missing or damaged items please include photos of the packaging and/or damage when contacting me. Again the item(s) must be returned in the condition you received them.

I will refund the purchase price only after I have received the item(s) being returned. Shipping and handling will NOT be refunded.

Items being returned must be mailed within 1 week (additional time given for addresses outside the USA) after contacting me about a refund. Please provide either a tracking number or photo of the post office receipt showing the item being returned. If returned items do not arrive within 2 weeks of initial contact I will be unable to refund (with additional time given to addresses outside the USA).


Additional policies

If for some reason you are unsatisfied with any item please let me know. But please be advised any item shipped to an address outside the United States may take as much as 2 weeks or longer to reach you and if returned will take up to an additional 2 or more weeks to reach me. I will honor returned items for a refund only after the item has reached my hands. I apologize for any inconvenience in delays of shipping once the postal service is handling items. The postal service is at times know to move very slowly and sometimes they loose items. If this happens it is not something I can control but if you contact me within 30 days of item not arriving I will do everything I can do to track your purchase or issue a refund (less shipping charges). If contacting past 30 days the postal system will have reused the tracking number and your item will not be able to be found.
