BIG WOODEN BEADS

Great big woden beads with - in their natural color and markings of the wood. The biggest of the three is about 2.5" long - 62 mm - and measures an inch - 25 mm across. The other two are about 2.25" - 57 mm long. There is a bit of surface damage to one of them - you can see it in the photo - it really just adds to their character. The drill hole is more than 4 mm - so these can be threaded onto very thick cord.

FAQs

The best way to size for a bangle is to take one that you already have and measure the diameter - this is the measurement from one side of the bangle to the other - but it must be the measurement from the inside of the wall and not the outside. There are tables on the internet of bangle sizes that will fit you - but they're not perfect and the best way is always to measure the diameter of one that you already have that fits you.

When I package up an order the first thing I do is put the piece (as long as it fits!) into a little silver colored bag and then carefully wrap it in bubble wrap. Then it goes it a protective envelope ready for posting. If you are sending a present to someone and would like it sent to a different address from yours - please let me know - and I am always happy to enclose a little note to say who the gift is from.

Most of the jewelry that I sell is made from some type of plastic. This means that in general it is very robust and durable. Scratches and scuffs can be a problem - but they are really inevitable if you like to wear your bangles every day - and the other thing is that plastic can get dirty or dull. If this happens give it a good wash in some warm soapy water - this usually does the trick. Note - this adivce only applies to the plastic jewelry. If you have something made from metal or glass then they probably need cleaning with a metal cleaner or a glass cleaner. Don't plunge anything that's not pure plastic into water as it may bleach, come unstuck or get water inside it!

We try to put items in the post as soon as possible after purchase. This is normally the next working day, but sometimes we have to go to the mainland (we live offshore in the UK) and this may lead to a few days delay - when this is relevant I will let you know.

We generally use Royal Mail for international and they state that delivery is normally 5-8 working days from posting (weekends and holidays not included in definition of working day). This is only a guide, however, and delivery may take longer than this - especially at busy times of year like Christmas.

The majority of the items do not have tracking as we try to keep prices as low as possible. However, if you wish, you may purchase tracking for your item please let us know and this can be arranged, at whatever the additional cost is over and above the original cost of shipping. Most of the items in my shop do not attract import duty - if I think that this is relevant, I will mention this specifically.

Returns & exchanges

If you decide that the item is not for you, please let me know within 2 weeks of arrival and return it to me within 4 weeks. I will then refund the cost of the item, but I will not refund the cost of the postage. If you think that the item is damaged in transit, please contact me so that we can discuss it further - normally I will undertake to refund the cost of a damaged item.
