Vintage 1978 Butterick 5567 pattern for tailored women's jumpsuit and blazer. The jumpsuit has a fitted waist, slash pockets, a v-neck top, and a button front. It looks like wide-legged trousers and a matching menswear-style vest. The unlined blazer or jacket is fitted and has princess seams in the back, patch pockets, back vent, and shaped hemline. A classic menswear/garçonne style with the best of 70's styling.
Suitable for "soft or crisp" fabrics such as gabardine, poplin, flannel, corduroy, denim, or, of course, double knits. The blazer can be made in matching or contrasting fabric.
Sized for misses'/women's size 12: 34" bust, 26.5" waist, 36" hip, and 16.25" back waist length.
This original 1978 pattern is uncut and factory folded. The envelope is shopworn, but the pattern is clean and pristine. It comes to you in an archival acid-free clear sleeve for protected storage.
As a special bonus this pattern includes its original receipt and order slip from Minnesota Fabrics. A bit of sewing history!
