Item details

The Candy Shoppe is open! Ezy Circle 'n Crop patterns are SEW fun. This pattern includes pull-on skirts and skorts along with the snappy crop top. All garments based on simple shapes of circles, squares, and triangles. All require active wear stretch knit fabrics.

This pattern is designed to fit 14 1/2" dolls such as the current Mattel brand Wellington boot girl. it will also fit similar dolls, such as the Glitter Girl from Battat (Target) and the Playzone 14 1/2" dolls at Big Lots as well as the Sylvia Natterer Minouche dolls.

As an extra, fitting notes are included for smaller dolls, 13 to 14". Garments are easily made successfully for Hearts for Hearts dolls, Dianna Effner's 'Little Darling' dolls, Corolle's "Le Cheries' and the Paola Reina dolls.

More details? The pattern includes circle skirts in micro or standard lengths. Choose one length or make a double layer skirt! Top solid fabrics with stretch metch or lace, mix and match colors and more.

There's a beautiful handkerchief hem style based on squares, too. Make these with one or two squares for different looks.

You'll be able to make any circle or handerkerchief skirt into a skort by adding the optional, attached panty. All skirts and skorts pull-on with a self-fabric waistband, there is no need for additional elastic.

The snappy crop top comes in two lengths, as well. Choose the standard length to show just a sliver of midriff, or go with a sport crop for a shorter length. Don't miss the cute, 'double triangle' back or the simple closure with a single, hand-sewn snap.

You'll need active wear stretch knit fabrics for all garments. Ideally, you'll select 4 way stretch knits such as those used for swim or dance wear. A percentage of spandex or Lycra is best for stretch and recovery. Experienced sewists may select more advanced fabric choices such as sequined stretch mesh, cotton/Lycra blend jersey, stretch lace overlays, etc. Sorry, garments are not sized for woven fabrics.

A skirt or skort and crop top can be made with 1/4 yard (or less) of 60" wide knit fabric.

These versatile pieces are fun! Perfect for cheer, swim or dance. Excellent for costumes, such as everyone's favorite woman wonder; great for modern cowgirls, too!

Like the popular 'Big Bow' look? You'll love the included bonus! A worksheet and template for making gorgeous hair bows! Make perfectly balanced hair bows every time.

Make separates or sets, mix or match colors and trims. Add your favorite appliques, embroidered designs or heat transfer vinyl designs to crop tops. Mix pieces with your favorite Janie Carroll patterns, too.

There's also the photo gallery, to inspire your own designing ideas! You'll find adorable outfits, along with fabric notes and sources.

Altogether, it's 23 pages packed with instructions, photos, extras and inspiration!

As always, I do assume basic sewing skills but you'll receive detailed instructions with photos. I'll be with you from the first cut to the last stitch. I strive to include all the little details you need!

This listing is for a sewing pattern, NOT an actual garment. Photos shown are samples only, and may depict some accessories that are not included in the pattern. Likewise, some supporting garments shown utilize other Janie Carroll Designs patterns.

Test garments were designed to fit the doll listed. Small adjustments may be necessary to fit similar dolls. I am not affiliated with any doll company in any way.

Immediate download is available after purchase. I am happy to answer any questions and can be reached by conversation through my etsy shop. Remember to print with size set at 100%. Your printer may note this as 'actual size' or 'no margins'. All these terms means the same thing and insure that your pattern will print true to size.

This pattern is for your use only. It may not be published, sold or shared. You may sell items you make with the pattern, but no mass production, please. If you sell online, I ask that you credit 'Janie Carroll Designs'.

The 'Candy Shoppe Circle 'n Crop' is an original design by Jane Wilkes of Janie Carroll Designs. A big thank you to the members of my pattern test team!

Look for this pattern in a size to fit standard 18" dolls, too!

JanieCarrollDesigns is another one of my most favorite shops. The designs are trendy. The patterns are easy to follow! I am definitely a returning customer! I actually purchased six of her patterns at one time.
