What this listing includes: Bright Green succulent cuttings; variety as shown in image.
Cutting size: 4-5cm cutting.
Plant details: Green foliage, sometimes with red/maroon edges. Pink/white flowers, in spring/summer, although flowering is not reliable and they may not flower at all. Foliage colour can vary depending on how much sun the plants receive.
Care for your cuttings: If you’re a careful waterer and cultivate your soil, these can be placed directly into the garden. If the weather is hot or location is exposed, start them off in a pot in a sheltered location. In around 3 months their roots will have established enough to plant them out.
Location: The best location for these is full sun in well-drained soil. They will enjoy living in pots and a smaller pot will simply restrict their size. Will grow in part shade however this may affect the intensity of the colour. These will live indoors for short periods in a very brightly lit area. Will need spells outdoors to keep healthy. This can be achieved by keeping a couple of plants and rotating them indoor and outdoor.
Pruning/Thinning: If they become too leggy for your liking you can trim them back as required and restart from cuttings.
Mature size: Up to 1m over years.
WHY succulents? Because succulents are a wonderful feature plant. They always look amazing and healthy, even with very little care. They subsist on very little water, and take root quickly, making them popular amongst 'brown thumbs' - and well, pretty much everyone loves succulents!
HOW we prepare our plants and cuttings: We take the cutting/s from the plants, then wrap in damp paper towel, then in cling wrap. For rooted plants, we wrap the roots only in damp paper towel, then in cling wrap, then roll/fold the entire plant in newspaper to prevent the leaves from getting damaged.
WHEN we cut and post: We take cuttings on Mondays and Tuesdays only, and prepare cuttings and post on these days only, to ensure your plants do not sit in a mail depot over the weekend.
WHERE we send our plants and cuttings: Due to customs regulations, we are unable to post cuttings to TAS, WA or NT, or internationally. If you order from these states, or other countries, your payment will be immediately refunded and the goods will not be posted.
COMBINED POSTAGE Our $9.50 shipping charge covers postage of one parcel only, therefore we will combine multiple orders into one box. If you require separate boxes for each item (i.e. to give as gifts), please advise on ordering and extra boxes & postage will be charged at $9.50 each.
