Laura Ingalls Wilder, pioneer era, inspired fabric red covered wagon on beige.
The sewing and quilting skills of women on the prairie were paramount in the survival of pioneers. Quilts were used as interior walls of otherwise one room cabins, to block drafts from doors and windows, and to stay warm during the cold prairie nights. As nothing was allowed to waste on the homestead, most quilts were made from worn-out clothing and other fabric scraps. When sewing with this fabric I like to reflect upon the pioneer women and their resourcefulness at making undesirable conditions comfortable for their families.
Laura's three most favorite quilt patterns were the Nine Patch, Bear's Paw, and Doves in the Window, all can be made from fat quarters.
This fabric is 100% Cotton. Produced by Andover Fabrics. Perfect for quilting, apparel, doll clothes, and home decor accents. Colors include red and beige. Price is per fat quarter. Dimensions are 18" x 22"
If you are looking for larger quantities let me know what you are looking for and I can provide a cost specific to your needs.
