I love kimchi! I love it so much I decided to make a kimchi cross stitch pattern! This is a simplified version of what kimchi looks like stored in a glass jar. Stitch it up and it would be the perfect gift for the kimchi lover you know!

2 Versions included:
- Romanized spelling of kimchi
- Korean spelling of 김치

For those of you who are wondering what kimchi is. It's a traditional korean side dish, a staple on the table. Kimchi is basically spicy fermented cabbage made with various vegeables and seasonings (radish, scallions, garlic, ginger, fish sauce, red peper flakes, etc). It may present a foul smell to you initially but it is very yummy and also very healthy. Kimchi is very refreshing and it's great for refreshing your palette when you eat greasy foods.

Skill level: Beginner (No Specialty Stitches)
Suggested Fabric: 14 ct. aida
Finished Design Size on 14 ct. aida: 2.5"w x 1.64"h (romanized kimchi), 2.29"w x 1.64"h (korean kimchi)
Grid Size: 42w x 42h
Required Stitches: n/a
Required Colors: 6
Although this pattern comes with suggested colors, the design would look great in a variety of colors, just change it accordingly to match your room or decor.

Included in this easy to read, two-paged PDF pattern:
- Cover Page
- Color Symbol Chart
- Color Floss Legend with DMC stranded cotton

This pattern is suitable for stitchers of all levels, especially beginners/first-timers. All my pdf patterns come with a Basic Cross Stitch PDF, so no worries!

This listing is neither a completed cross-stitching nor a kit. Materials are not included in this listing. The cross-stitch pattern comes with a full color block chart with a DMC legend in a PDF file. If you would like a B/W Symbol Chart instead, please let me know in the ‘note to seller’ box during checkout. The PDF pattern is delivered electronically via email. Additional Information:
My finished cross-stitchings have been stitched on 14 count aida or 28ct linen fabric (over two) using two strands of floss. For beginners I would recommend stitching on aida fabric as it is much easier, and it holds it's shape beautifully.
When you're finished you can frame it directly with the hoop that you were working with. Happy Stitching!

A lot of people ask me where to get supplies, I just hit my local Michaels and Joann.

Patterns are for personal use only. Please do not distribute any copies of the pattern. The patterns themselves may not be sold or duplicated in any form. You may sell the completed cross-stitchings as long as you credit back to
Please be aware that finished cross-stitchings from my patterns cannot be mass-produced.

I get a lot of convos asking me about my business. Sometimes the questions are just inappropriate. I'm sorry, but I will not answer these types of convos.
