I ship standard USPS shipping (first class or priority depending on weight), normally on Fridays. If you need an item faster, contact me before placing your order and we can try to work something out. I cannot guarantee shipping times once your package has shipped, so please order with plenty of time for your yarn to arrive. Please keep in mind that the mail can be slower around holidays.
You will receive an email via Etsy once your package has shipped.
International customers are responsible for any customs fees. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I cannot mark shipments as a gift and/or list the item value below the actual item value on the customs form.
Please double check the address on Etsy to ensure your yarn goes to the correct address. If you enter the wrong address, I am not responsible for lost/delayed packages due to the customer entering the wrong address. If a package is returned to me because it was sent to the wrong address, the buyer is responsible for the additional shipping to send it to the correct address.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
If there is something wrong with your purchase, send me a message and we will work out a solution that will work for both parties. Refunds and exchanges are handled case by case. There are no returns/exchanges on clearance merchandise or items that are not in the condition they arrived in. Yarn that has been caked cannot be returned. If there is nothing wrong with your order but you wish to return it, shipping will not be refunded.
Please note that while I depict colors as accurately as possible in my photos, every computer monitor varies and the colors might be slightly different in person than they appear on your screen.
Custom Orders/Reserved Listings: Custom orders require payment in full before your order will be dyed. If I have agreed to a custom order for you, you have one week to pay for your order before your spot will be given up.
I cannot put skeins currently in the shop on "reserve" for you.
I would like to custom order a colorway, can you do that?
At this time I am not accepting any custom orders.
I wanted a skein of ______ self striping colorway, but I missed the update/it sold out quickly. Can you make an exception and do a custom order for me?
As much as I wish I could make everyone happy, I cannot make exceptions on my self striping policy FOR ANY REASON. This would be unfair to all the other customers.
If I place multiple orders, can you combine them and refund the excess shipping?

I'm an international customer. Will I have to pay customs fees on your yarn?
Customers are responsible for any customs fees. As customs work differently in every country, I am not able to tell if you will owe customs fees or not.
I don't have a skein winder/I would like a skein split in half for two-at-a-time socks. Can you do it?
Absolutely! Just let me know in the notes to seller that you would like your yarn caked before shipping (and if you would like it split in half, let me know that too). Please note that I cannot sell you partial skeins; I will only split skeins if you purchase the entire skein. Please note that yarn that has been caked and/or split cannot be returned.
I have some yarn/fabric/etc. that I'd like you to dye. Can you do that?
