This is truly one of my favorite papers! It's a very thin, strong and crisp paper.
The kozo bark is imported from Thailand.I cook, clean and beat the bark (by hand) into pulp.
Abaca is a very strong versatile pulp from the banana leaf. It's commonly known in the international trade as Manila Hemp and is considered the strongest of natural fibers. The abaca pulp is machine beaten.
I combine both beaten pulps for this paper. And then the pulp's dyed with color fast cold water dyes. I used pearl grey dye, topped with a smidgen of marine violet to make this color.
My handmade paper is only composed of plant fibers (not recycled paper). This ensures a long lasting, neutral ph paper that will last for ages.
This paper works beautifully in collage, drawing, handmade books, scrap-booking, printmaking, and love notes.
Listing is for 10 sheets of paper, each measuring 3 x 5 inches.
