This listing is a file for embroidery machines, not an embroidered design.
It is a free-standing Christmas house, built on tear-away stabilizer in a 4 x 4 hoop. Use it as an ornament, or make several to string on a ribbon for a garland. The back side will not have the details that the front has - you'll add the backing fabric near the end, so you'll see just the satin edging and the scallops on the roof on the back when the design is complete. (See the front and back pics of my test sew (above).)
The final step adds 1/4" eyelet holes that you can slit and run a ribbon through. You can add a ribbon hanger early in the sewing process (the instructions will tell you how) and omit the eyelet holes.
The design is available for immediate download in the following formats: DST, EXP, JEF, PES, and VIP. (Other formats available on request, usually the same day.) Written instructions are included in the zip file.
I tried making this double-sided, and it's do-able, but you'll have to pay close attention and do everything to the back side of the hoop that you do to the front. And you'll have to figure it out by yourself, because the instructions won't tell you. ;)
You could also use this as just a plain applique, done on fabric instead of stabilizer, omitting the backing.
