Beautiful old glass beads. These beads are probably over 100 years old. These beads that have been made in Italy in the famous city of Venice andhave been as a currency with African tribes. These beads represent an invaluable treasure for the men and women of the tribes of West Africa. They have been so cherished that they are beautifully preserved.
These beads were made by glassmakers who applied small glass flowers (murines) on a pierced glass tube. In the heat of the fire these murines melted and created these beads with beautiful colors.
This strand of beads is composed of different beads. Some have a circular section and others have a square section, which gives them greater value.
I took some pictures close enough to these beads to give you an idea of their condition. These beads are generally well preserved even if the surface of these beads is slightly worn and some have some chips.
