Item details

Inspired by the Shogun from Laura Joh Rowland's Sano Ichiro mystery series, this blend consists of merino wool, mulberry silk, bamboo, baby alpaca, and stellina sparkles. Hand wash, lay flat to dry; suitable for felting.

All my fiber is dyed in a cat-friendly, smoke free home, and stored in a cat-proof containers prior to shipment. Please remember that all monitors show colors differently; I've made every effort to photograph the fiber in natural light to show the color at its truest. Batts are carded indoors in the same cat-friendly, smoke free environment.

Please pick a flavor of Soak to accompany your yarn, compliments of the Sales Kitties.

Returns & exchanges

Refunds will only be issued in the event of order cancellation and any damage to your items or if they're lost in transit, stolen by aliens, or eaten by dinosaurs. This applies to spinning fiber as well as yarn, with the exception of yarn that is unwound and partially used or spinning fiber that has been unpacked, prepped for spinning, and/or partly spun.

Additional policies

Custom spinning orders: I can only handle fiber in amounts up to a pound since--gasp!--I'm only one person. In order to get custom yarn spun, from start to finish the process takes at least a week between the actual spinning and the soaking/drying/finishing. If you're not sure about what's involved or have any questions about either the process or what I can and can't do with fiber, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm here to share information as well as my skills.

If you'd prefer your yarn not to be soaked in scented Eucalan, please indicate this in the Notes section when you place your order.
