+ DESCRIPTION Surging waves send the sharp, salty smell of the ocean swirling up into the air. Grey clouds gather overhead, a ominous reminder that a storm is fast approaching, bringing with it cool gusts of wind and an excuse to head indoors and snuggle up by the fireplace.
Envelope yourself in the warmth and serenity of the Winter Tempest Blanket, as it gently transports you to a quaint little cottage by the seaside. The tranquil world of oceans and rippling waves brings a simple sophistication to this elegant blanket. Perfect as a couch throw, the eclectic, uneven stripes make this an artistic home accessory for any room! From the billowing tassels to the detailed ocean-like design, this blanket will conjure up memories of stormy seas as you snuggle underneath it’s fluffy cosiness with a hot chocolate to warm your icy fingers.
+ SKILLS This is an "Intermediate" level crochet pattern (includes "How To" photos). You must be familiar with basic crochet stitches and techniques. Directions written so that they are easy to read and follow. All patterns are in English, using standard US crochet terms.

I found a link to this pattern on Pinterest, I’m so glad that I found the link to purchase this pattern because it is beautiful! I like the way the pattern is written and it’s easy to follow. I also like that there are descriptive photos within the pattern as it’s very helpful when switching the stitches. I’m going to cut the pattern down to make a baby blanket first, then will be making the full size version on the pattern. I cannot wait to start this!
