**What is this? : A pdf pattern of a two-compartment bumbag for experienced sewers.
*FQ of outer fabric (I'm using Oxford canvas from Art Gallery Fabrics) *1/2m of inner fabric (This pattern works best with a solid colour lining fabric !!! I'm using a white Oxford canvas.) *2x 30 cm zip *1m long and 2.5cm wide webbing or old belt/bag strap *Plastic fastening clip for the strap *FQ medium interfacing piece *1.5m of bias tape -same colour as your lining fabric if you want to hide the seams inside your bag. If you don't then don't use it. It's optional.
*Finished size: adult size
**Two compartment bag if you want to make a one compartment bag, you can use this pattern and just leave out the steps for making the back pocket. Simples.
Everybody has different skills, understanding and experiences through different sewing and other craft projects. I taught myself to sew 4 years ago and I managed to design this bumbag and then successfully have sewn about a dozen so far.
You definitely need to understand how to sew a basic pouch e.g. a zip pouch and work with zippers. If you have never made a zip pouch and/or if you are a beginner then I guess you should not buy the pattern.
Pattern includes photos and step by step instructions. But it would definitely help if you actually knew what a two compartment bumbag was, seen one and used one before.
Making simple tote bags does not count as experience in this case. Also if you don’t know how to measure a piece of strap around your waist then this project is probably not for you either.)
****Am I allowed to sell finished items made from this pattern? Yes
I found the directions to be confusing.
