We graft our camellia japonicas ensuring adaptable and hardy camellia plants. While grafted plants cost more to produce they generally grow off as very healthy, vigorous and reliable hardy specimens that are more adaptable to a greater variety of garden conditions. These two year grafts are 18 to 36 inches in trade gallon containers ready to plant into your landscape or enjoy as patio container specimens. This spectacular heirloom variety has white, formal double blooms with deep red markings on the petals. The bi-colored flowers are medium-size and open in the early to mid-season which is usually during the fall and winter here in Louisiana. It tends to be a slow grower so Camellia japonica ‘La Peppermint’ makes an ideal container plant.

I have been looking for a La Peppermit Camellia for a while and had not luck finding one. So happy I found Old South Camellias on Etsy. Camellia came packaged well and in perfect condition. I can not wait for it to bloom! I will definently be ordering other varieties in the future.
