Item details

A beautiful old pattern for a Fair Isle Cap and Gloves.

The pattern looks intricate but actually it is deceptively simple and doesn't require any graph following.

It requires 1oz / 25gms of main colour and 1/2 oz / 12 1/2 grms of 3 contrasts, in 3 ply / sock yarn on 4 needles.

Ideal for using up left overs.

Circa 1940's.

I have completely rewritten the pattern so it is clear and easy to follow. It is written in word document format.

No more squinting at tiny tatty old instructions.
