Item details

This is a skein of yarn which I spun on my Ashford E Spinner.

It is spun from a braid of Cotswold wool hand dyed by fellow Etsy seller TheShepherdsHut

The colours are a mix of pinks and blues.

Cotswold is quite like Wensleydale/Teeswater and is a fairly hairy wool.

WPI : 14= 4ply/light DK weight ( I'd suggest needle size 2.75mm- 4.5mm)
Length : approx. 206.5yds/188.8m
Weight : approx. 100g/ 3.5oz

The skein in long enough for a small scarf or maybe a hat or pair of mitts, though bear in mind that as it is a hairy yarn you might not find it soft enough to wear next to your skin.

Would be great used in weaving or for a bag or other accessory.

Hand wash whatever you make from this as it will felt.
