It takes 1-2 business days for me to ship an item. In most cases I will be able to ship the item on the same day as it was purchased.
I currently use the United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Mail to ship my items. With this service I am able to provide a tracking number and purchase insurance for most items. The time for an item to arrive will depend on the distance it must travel. It usually takes 1-2 days for most items to arrive at a destination in the continental USA but sometimes it will take 3 days.
For international shipping I use USPS International First Class Shipping.
I am willing to use different methods of shipping, such as USPS Priority Mail, FedEx, UPS or any other company that is available to me should the buyer request it. Please contact me if you would like a custom shipping quote.
The buyer is responsible for any duties or customs cost in their country.
**I purchase insurance on all items over $20.00USD, when I am able (insurance is not available in all countries), to cover loss or damage of an item. For items under $20.00USD I will purchase insurance if the buyer contacts me and asks me to do so. I will split the cost over $1.00USD with the buyer for the insurance on any item under $20.00USD.
I expect the buyer to pay for the item at the time of purchase unless other arrangements have been made with me.
I am willing to haggle over the price of my vintage jewelry. Send me a message with a reasonable offer. I will consider it and get back to you.
Returns & exchanges
**If I did not provide the buyer with proper information about the condition of an item and the buyer is not satisfied with the item; I will accept returns within 15 days of the buyer's receipt of the item. Please contact me first so that we can discuss the item and the problem before you return it.
Procedure for returns due to improper condition described at time of purchase: Contact me within 15 days of receipt, using the Etsy.com conversation link on my shop page, about any problem with the item you have received. If the item was not described properly at the time of sale I will accept a return of the item, but it must be shipped within 1 week of my acknowledging acceptance of the return through a conversation on Etsy.com (unless otherwise agreed upon). As soon as the item has been returned and is safely in my hands, in the condition in which I sent it, I will refund the initial cost and shipping of the item. All return shipping costs will be payed for by the buyer. I will not cover the cost of shipping insurance for returning an item. That choice will be at the discretion of the buyer. I will not refund an item that is lost during RETURN shipping if insurance was not purchased by the buyer.
Please remember to read my descriptions carefully. I put a detailed description of the wear and tear along with photographs on the Etsy.com item page. I meticulously look over every piece of jewelry I sell to make sure I am accurately describing the condition of each piece.

**I will not give a refund for an item when it has been lost or damaged by the carrier. That is what the insurance is meant to cover. So far I have not had any problems with loss or damage to items using USPS.
If damage or loss occurred during shipping a claim must be filed through the mail carrier for a refund. Please contact me if there is loss or damage of the item when you receive or don't receive it so that I can start the claim process for you with USPS. Please allow the appropriate time for a claim to be filed, processed and your money refunded. I will be glad to fill out any forms necessary to process a claim in a timely manner. If you are able to take a photo of the damaged item and send it to me, that will help the claim move along faster. Please contact me so that I am able to start the filing process should you have any problems.
Please remember all items have been previously worn unless otherwise stated and are in vintage condition. They have spent many years in jewelry boxes and have in many cases endured moving with previous owners all over the world. They are not in perfect condition but they were well loved and taken care of. While in my care I have tried to protect them to my best ability. I will list all wear and tear that I see in my descriptions and I will do my best to accurately capture any damaged areas in the pictures I take. If you believe I have not accurately described the wear and tear on the item when you receive it please contact me.
I will do my best to protect every piece of jewelry I send out whether it is local, regional or international. My desire is to make the customer happy and have a well loved business that is considered honest and affordable.
