SHIPPING is done within 1 to 2 business days under normal circumstances. See individual item for specifics. Shipping is usually done by insured and registered parcel post, USPS or Fedex / UPS (for more expensive items) once we have received payment (see above). The amount of time the parcel may take to reach you depends on where you are located and the time of year (for example, near the Christmas holiday season be sure to allow for more time for the package to reach you).

SHIPPING TO BUSINESS ADDRESS: If you are having your item delivered to a business address, please be sure to notify us. We will mark the package 'personal' and in care of your business to be sure that it reaches you intact. We cannot be held responsible for packages that go missing once delivered to your business address, and opened by a third party.

*** PLEASE NOTE that the shipping costs that are listed are just for basic shipping charges, with tracking number. If you wish additional insurance, just let us know and we will add the sum to your order - please note that insurance charges via Fedex and USPS (this is a standard amount) are $3.00 for every $100 insured. If the client opts out of additional insurance for their package, we will not be held responsible for lost packages; there will be no refund or replacement article if the item is 'lost' and the client has opted not to purchase the full value insurance for the item.

We are happy to COMBINE ITEMS to economize on shipping costs, but sometimes this isn't possible. When it comes to the more expensive items, especially jewelry, the items must be insured separately and the shipping costs reflect for the most part this insurance cost. If you would like to combine more than one item in your package, please contact us and we will see what we can do to provide you with a custom combined shipping quote.

SHIPPING UPGRADES are possible. If the upgrade you desire is not listed with the item, please contact us and we will provide you an estimate for the upgrade you desire. NOTE that 'two day service', for example, to international destinations, only means it will arrive in the country of destination within two days. It does not take into account customs delays or local shipment complications. Please allow extra time for your package to arrive

IMPORTATION DUTIES to Canada have been paid, but there may be a further importation tax to pay upon shipment to you if you live outside of Canada, Items over 100 years old will be declared as antique and many countries do not assess duties and taxes on such items, but some do - you may want to check with your post office or Customs for your country's protocol for such items. If you have specific customs declaration requirements, please let us know. All items will be declared for their full purchase price. ANY AND ALL CUSTOMS' DUTIES, BROKERAGE FEES OR TAXES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.

For International (not USA) customers, remember there may be DELAYS AT CUSTOMS. These are beyond our control and you should allow several days' margin for your delivery date just in case this happens. Allow at least an extra week during the month of December.

UNDELIVERED PACKAGES: If the package cannot be delivered due to the client providing an incorrect or incomplete address, or is 'undeliverable' due to any other reason, including not making arrangements with delivery agents when notifications are left, the client assumes entire responsibility. If the package is lost due to such errors, it is the client's responsibility and we will not be held responsible: there will be no refund or replacement object provided in such cases. If a package is not claimed during the normal course of delivery, during the time period allowed by the delivery service (usually two weeks) and the package is returned to us by the courier service under their normal terms of use, the buyer shall be responsible for all delivery and/or customs charges for the parcel including its return to sender. If the postal carrier's policy is to destroy items after their waiting period, this is out of our hands. In such cases, the item obviously cannot be returned to us, and subsequently there will be no refund.

*** WE DO NOT SHIP TO INDONESIA, some parts of China or South Africa ***

***RUSSIA CUSTOMERS*** Please be aware that shipping to your country is high risk. Many packages seem to never reach their destination. Please be advised that if you order something from us, you do so at your own risk. For this reason normal insurance isn't available though USPS. I can ship priority which will provide more or less tracking number (apparently in Russia, this is a little spotty - hence no insurance) Should the item go missing, we will not be held responsible and will not issue a refund.


PAYMENTS can be made by credit cards or via paypal. We accept layaways, as long as regular payments are made over a maximum 10 month period, depending on the total amount. Please contact us to set this up if you this interests you.

Our GENERAL TERMS are that the item must be paid in full before it will be shipped. Be aware that it may take several days for Etsy to process the order and register the payment on our account. It is not instantaneous, so be patient. Due to various fraudulent efforts out there, we have to wait for the payment to go through before we can process your order.

If paying by PAYPAL, please note that we will only ship to your registered PAYPAL ADDRESS.

LAYAWAY PLAN: Please note that if you opt for payment for an item in several installments. All special orders and layaways are non refundable, although under certain circumstances can be exchanged against another item.

CANCELED ORDERS: We are here to help you and answer all of your questions but please make sure that you do this BEFORE purchasing your item. Even if we haven't yet shipped, if you decide at the last minute to cancel your order, we do have a refund policy but Paypal etc. charges us a reverse payment fee of 3.5 % which we will have to pass on to you. All returned and canceled orders can be subject to a 5% restocking fee, depending on the item.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
RETURNS: Returns and cancellations may be subject to a 5%. In the case that a restocking fee is charged, the amount may be applied to another purchase within a 12 month period.

RETURN OF GEMSTONES: Gemstones can only be returned if they have not been set into a piece of jewelry. Custom cut gemstones are not eligible for return, although the amount paid may (depending on the item) be applied to another purchase with us. Return of gemstones are subject to a 5% restocking fee.

There is a 3 day return policy from the date that the item was delivered to you. Items must be returned in original packaging with all original paperwork, certifications or appraisals. The re-stocking fee is 5% of the purchase price and may or may not be applied depending on the item in question. We don't wish to charge you a restocking fee, but some items require hefty charges on our end to get them to you. If you are concerned, please contact us for details. You must notify us of your intention to return an item via Etsy messaging within three days of receiving the item and again when item is shipped, complete with tracking number so that we can watch for the item.

We do our best to convey an accurate, detailed and informative profile of all our quality products. If you have any questions, please ask; we are eager to provide you with as much information as possible to allow you to make an informed purchase.

*** CUSTOM ORDERS *** There is no return or refund policy with respect to custom orders. If there is a problem, please contact us and we will do our best to rectify it, even if it means having the item shipped back to us for changes (which to date, has never been necessary). The additional insured shipping charges, however, will be the purchaser's responsibility. In the worst case scenario we will exchange the custom order against other merchandise of lesser or equal value. Again, there are no refunds on custom orders, and this includes deposits. We can, in certain cases, apply the amount paid to another item, but this does not necessarily apply to all orders.

There are no returns or refunds on sale items, custom orders or items that have paid using Financing Plans such as FuturePay and Paypal Credit. Items that have been altered are not eligible for return. NO WORN ITEM IS ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN. NO PERSONALIZED ITEMS CAN BE EXCHANGED OR RETURNED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. NO ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN ALTERED IN ANY WAY, SUCH AS RE-SIZING CAN BE RETURNED.

*** LAYAWAY ITEMS *** There is no refund policy with regard to items put aside on layaway plans. We are very flexible with respect to payments and will work with you in achieving your purchase but payments are non refundable. If, in the end, you do wish to keep the item, we will offer you a credit for the amount paid to be used against any other item in our shop, to be used within a twelve (12) month period.

If you find that an item does need to be returned, we do allow a 3 day RETURN POLICY. As long as the object is shipped to us within 3 days via insured, trackable courier or UPS Parcel post (that requires signature upon delivery), in the same condition as it was when it was shipped to you, with the same packaging materials (and jewel box), we will offer a full refund of the purchase price, less a possible 5 restocking fee. The remaining refund will be credited to you within 14 to 30 days.

The return INSURED shipping costs and and any other charges, including brokerage or incidental return customs fees (which can be avoided if the item is labeled properly - see below) will be the responsibility of the buyer. You must message us telling us the item is to be returned, providing us with the tracking number within the three day trial period. The refunded sum will not include our original shipping costs, but only the sales price of the item in question.

UNDELIVERED PACKAGES: If a package is not claimed during the normal course of delivery, during the time period allowed by the delivery service and the package is returned to us by the courier service under their normal terms of use, the buyer shall be responsible for all delivery and/or customs charges for the parcel including its return to sender. If the item is lost during this process, we shall not be held responsible. If the postal carrier's policy is to destroy items after their prescribed waiting period, this is out of our hands. In such cases, the item obviously cannot be returned to us, and subsequently there will be no refund. If the package is deemed undeliverable or is lost due to an incorrect address being supplied to us by the purchaser, we will not be held responsible for the item, nor any replacement item or refund of the purchase in question.

LOST PACKAGES: If your item does not arrived in the estimated time frame, please give it another couple of weeks as sometimes packages to get waylayed. If the package still hasn't arrived, please notify us immediately and file a lost claim with the appropriate delivery service. We will file one on our side too, but in a lot of cases the claim must also be made by sendee. Once the claim has been processed, a refund will be issued. If it is possible, we will remake the item and send it again. In the case of one-of-a-kind antique items, all we can do is offer another similar item or a full refund, less shipping costs. However, if you give instructions for delivery to be in a mailbox, P.O. box or on the steps of your house and the package is lost or stolen, we will not be held responsible. The same applies if you have provided us with an incomplete or inaccurate delivery address.

DAMAGED ITEMS: if your item arrives damaged, please file a claim with the delivery service that did the damage, and we will do the same on our end.. We do our best to protect our items, even doubling or triple packaging to ensure their safe delivery, but accidents can happen. If this is the case, notify us immediately, file a claim, and depending on the state of the item, we will ask you to return the item to us and we will proceed to issuing a new item, or a refund, less shipping costs, to you once a claim has been filed.

Additional policies

Please note that all purchases being shipped to either Washington or Pennsylvania are subject to local sales tax. Etsy hasn't yet implemented an automatic sales tax calculator at checkout but has opted for the sum to be systematically subtracted from the sale price and then remitted to the state in question. This means that as a seller, we are obliged to manually calculate the applicable sales tax and add it onto the sales price either at the time of sale, or under separate cover.

With respect to our handmade line, we do accept custom orders if you desire a different stone, or metal. Please contact us regarding the changes you want made to discuss the feasibility and cost of the changes in question.

Please note that there is a 15% augmentation in the price of all rush orders. Rush orders are considered those that must be completed and delivered within a deadline shorter than that specified in its listing.

Unless otherwise stated, any sizing and color assessments attributed to diamonds and colored gemstones are necessarily determined without disturbing the integrity of the piece; therefore, assessments represent close approximations, due to limitations imposed by the mount.

We will not consider the opinion of any other 3rd party.
Should you feel that your item has been misrepresented then please return the item within 14 days and we will pay for an independent assessment to be carried out by a qualified and experienced gemologist / antique jewelry expert.

Any unauthorized testing will result in no refunds being made under any circumstances.

If the item has been proven to be misrepresented you will receive a full refund and your shipping costs refunded.
