Item details

It took a bit of research but finally I was able to place these two embroideries in the country of Azerbaijan around the years 1930's -1940's.

These are completely hand made with interesting designs that are very unusual to us, however, they do have a special quality about them which is why I have them in my embroidery collection.

Neither one is perfect yet there are enough good areas to be put into pillows or some other project you might have in mind.

The damage on the right one has a rudimentary patch with the rest of it looking quite good. The left one has areas of discoloration that blend in well with the actual embroidery.

These could be used of pillows or as a table cover. They were from a well known artist's home here in the northeast. His family could have brought them when they came to this country. My sense is that they are very unusual to be here in the USA.

They measure 25" wide x 36" long.

I prefer shipping within the USA - simpler and less hassle. But, if you live abroad and want an item email me and I will do it if possible. In the past I have shipped abroad but it is alot more effort in the shipping so I try to avoid it. I do not charge for shipping time or supplies as I most often use recycled materials.

Returns & exchanges

If you are unhappy with your purchase when you receive it, items must be returned within 7 days of receipt, in original condition. Please contact me for more information.
