Item details

This is a really vintage pattern, Men's socks in 2 lengths, using either 3 or 4 ply yarn. (fingering or sock weight)

Circa 1940's it is definitely a war time pattern. One sock length is austerity length, indicating that these were designed during rationing.

Sizes are for 10", 10 1/2 " and 11"

It would be so easy to give this old pattern a new lease of life and bring it right up to date by using equivalent modern random dyed sock yarn.

I include a needle and yarn conversion chart to help you work out correct suitable modern yarn.

You will receive a repurposed and rewritten pattern clearly laid out and easily readable in a PDF Document.

No more squinting at tiny battered patterns ( this one was in very small type, again reflecting its war time origins)

This listing is for a *** PDF digital document download *** not the physical pattern.
