Tutorial for Small Etui Box - Sewing Box, Treasure Box, Memory Keeper, Gift Box

A PDF tutorial for making my own design, completely fabric covered, étui box which you can use as a little sewing box, trinket box, jewellery box, memory keeper or as a container for giving that extra special gift.

The Tialys étui box measures 4.25" high x 4.25" wide x 3.5" deep and the sides drop open halfway so that you can easily access the inside. The box has padded inner sides fitted with ribbon so that you can tuck little items behind. The inner lid and base are also padded for a luxurious feel. There is a padded section on the top lid to which you can add a decorative button if you wish.

You will need card, fabric, wadding, ribbon, glue and thread to complete the box.

You will receive a 16-page pattern in PDF format with tutorial-style instructions, full color photographs, and a template.

Included with this pattern:

*Full list of required materials

*photographs illustrating each step

*PDF format allows you to print and reprint the instructions whenever you need.

*PDF allows you to zoom in on photos to see each step up close

This pattern requires a certain competence with sewing techniques.

I have been making these boxes for many years and they can become an addiction! Perfect for showcasing some favourite fabric - you can let the designer in you decide on the theme for your box and be as inventive as you like.

The instructions will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours.

This tutorial is for personal use only. Please respect the work and time that I have put into it and do not sell or distribute it in any form. Please do not mass produce any items produced from this pattern.

Thank you for looking.

Average review
I have previously made several nof these for gifts, but had lost my pattern. Now I can make more, they are loved, I like to put small notions glued on top ( charms, etc)
